Petra - The Treasury
| Amman is a large, modern but inexpensive city, with an ancient citadel. And within day trips of Amman are incomparable tourist sites - Jerash, Madaba, Umm Qhais, Mt. Nebo... And now, you you can visit Israel and see Jordan. It costs $20 to get to Amman by bus - a brief trip. Almost everyone, including Israelis, can get visas at the border. So near, but so different. Or come from Eilat to Aqaba and explore Petra, Wadi Rhum and the south. |  |
